Erika's professional interests are running-related injuries and keeping up with current literature for best practice guidelines in the areas of orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. She is a program lead for sports therapy across the state of Oregon for Providence Health & Services. Her personal interests are spending time with her husband and two children, hiking, running, board and card games, and water sports.

Erika earned her bachelor's degree in health sciences from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. She graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga. with her master's degree in physical therapy. She is also Emergency First Responder Certified.
