About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I was referred to get an ultrasound, which was able to be accommodated within one week. The technicians indicated it would be approximately 24 hours before results would be available to my doctor. It has now been over 48 hours, and despite a call to the doctor's office at 9 am this morning, I have not yet received feedback at the end of the business day.

I felt that I was rushed through the process..that there were other patients waiting and thus little time to talk with me.

I saw her for a problem that i was worried about in Jan. She wasn't concerned and didn't ask enough questions or maybe understand what the issues might be. the pain continued to increase and i asked her for a specialist referral which i did get. I really did have a problem and i think she should have been more aware of the potential for that. It is taken care of and i am healing so no harm.

good: nice, friendly, generally runs on time bad: sometimes feels like she's in a hurry - while typing office visit notes during the appt probably saves her time i often feel most of my appt is spent with her typing/looking at the computer rather than fully listening to my concerns

Dr. Lee is an excellent provider, but usually she seems rushed, like she has another patient waiting. On my last appointment [...] she seemed especially hurried, and did not ask me a follow-up question that I had been anticipating. She also anticipates the end of my sentences, and sometimes that's not what I'm talking about at all. All in all, however, I am pleased with her care for me.

I have had several visits where I had to see someone else because my Dr. isn't in the office everyday. I don't always get sick on her schedule . Sometimes it is just easier to go to urgent care !

The ability to listen is the foundation of a relationship with one's care provider. 1) The need to listen and to feel comfortable asking questions of your care provider are essential. 2) The need to feel that your care provider is listening carefully and is ready to ask hard question is also essential. My care provider knows me and my individual quirks. That she realizes that I am human and mortal and isn't judging me, releases the stress of having to go to the doctor. I've always been able to schedule and see my doctor as my needs arise. We feel comfortable with each other and I know she has my back.
