Victorya Khary, M.D., enjoys working with her patients as a team. “The patient’s role in health care is very important,” she says. “All patients need to be active participants in their own health care decisions.” As a primary care provider, Dr. Khary provides preventive care, up-to-date medical information and diagnostic and treatment services, and coordinates the care her patients receive from other providers.
Dr. Khary was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and has lived in Portland since 1975. She speaks both English and Russian fluently. She graduated with high honors in science and psychology from the Portland State University Honors Program, and earned her medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her residency at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
In her free time, Dr. Khary enjoys hiking, gardening, cooking, watching movies and remodeling.
