Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

This was my first visit with Dr. Ji and it was my annual wellness visit. Being that it was my first visit, and the fact that my medical history had not yet been transferred from my previous physician, I began to inform her of a few health concerns I have dealt with over the years and she was not at all interested because as she stated "This is a wellness visit and if you have other issues we will discuss them during another visit." My response to her was as this was my first visit with her, I thought it important to discuss these issues since they do affect my overall health. Needless to say, I was not pleased with her response.

I am confident that Dr. Ji puts 110% effort in my health care. I trust my life to Dr. Ji.

felt like my desire to discuss any prescriptions or the use of such methods was not hardly addressed. I was instead given a referral to a mental health professional. I am not sure as to the reason why this happened as this was my first visit to this office as a new patient. [...]

No bad experiences.

Provider looks uncomfortable during the visit, always trying to get out of the exam room. Never asks if I have any other questions like she is afraid I will ask something.

Dr. Ji has ALWAYS been exceptional - ALWAYS. This most recent visit was no different. I'm very fortunate to have her as my primary physician.

I leave the office discouraged. I'm not motivated by guilt. I don't seem to do anything right. When something is good it's never noticed or encouraged only what needs work on is talked about. Hard to be motivated when you feel like you are never doing anything right. I leave never wanting to come back but I have to.

she was incredibly rude, accused me of abusing my prescription medicine and told me that she could get all of my prescriptions taken away from me. Extremely rude, cold, unhappy and not friendly. I'd seen her a few times before this last appointment where she had me legitimately in tears, and she was rude before the accusations. I will be switching immediately and changing my health care provider, as well as telling everyone not to use this office.

She took time to listen to my concerns & recommended tests that she thinks I need to have done.

I felt awkward getting a breast exam with my husband in the room. He didn't know yet that I had a lump.

the office staff name [...] went above and beyond after our telephone conversation ended, I really appreciate the fact that she even called me back to try and help further with the problem, excellent customer service she provided and that reassured me why I stay with this provider and clinic.

She took her time to listen to my concerns. She was compassionate.

Excellent care!

Dr. Ji is great, but once it leaves her it is less than normal. Still waiting on a referral.

The after hours provider prescribed a medication for a UTI that has not worked in the past. It did not appear they looked at my chart. I finally talked to Dr. Ji's office and got a different prescription. Given that I was hospitalized last year because the prescription didn't work.

Dr Ji is the best PCP I've had. I appreciate her thorough care. She makes sure to include me in decisions that affect my health care needs. Dr. Ji gets an A+ grade from me.

My primary care physician retired and this was my initial visit with Dr. Ji as my new primary care. She did not have my medical records so she could not review them before meeting me. She did, however, review the medical history I had provided online. I look forward to working with Dr. Ji.

l have great trust in Dr. Ji and her staff. Everyone is very kind.

I really feel comfortable with Bethany clinic team!

I have always been treated with the utmost respect & kindness.

I only want to Dr. Ji for my primary care. I was offered an appointment a day earlier with the nurse practitioner but I turned it down so I could see Dr. Ji. She is the only one I want to see there.

patient and helpful, listens and advises, caring and understanding.

She was a perfect listener and very helpful!

Dr Ji is excellent!!

Dr. Ji was very much on target with my medical records, tests that need to be done now and the future. On target with meds to keep and stop etc. She is the utmost professional doctor. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I was most impressed.

Dr. Ji and her crew are always very helpful & listen very carefully.

Dr Ji listened to me when I said I had pain, checked the area and got me in for labs and ultrasound tests.

Because this was my first visit with Providence, I had to schedule over the phone. It was hard to understand why I couldn't immediately see someone for a checkup (even if it was male), but that I had to make whoever I saw my permanent care provider. So I had to wait for a female. I was assigned to someone without being able to look into it myself.

Dr. Li is smart, focused, concerned and motivated to provide accurate, responsible care.

I have had ADHD since I was 11 years old and told her I was taking [...] daily and was hoping she could help me so I would not have to continue seeing a psychiatrist as I am happy where my life is at and feel having a immediate care doctor that is willing to help me in more ways then one. [...] doctor Dong Lim Ji was not even open to discussing my history or therefore letting me voice my thought on the matter at all. I was very hurt emotionally and was not even given a farewell by her as I was left in the office to later found out she has moved onto the next patient. I have had positive experiences in the past and hope that will continue as I am going to look elsewhere within the providence healthcare locations. I want to point out she was very on the ball with sending me my blood test results within the next day.

I really like my provider she is always professional

Thorough, attentive and helpful but somewhat distant on a personal level. Seems preoccupied sometimes.

Love my Doctor & Bethany Clinic

I would like more time spent on issues that effect me daily

meeting seemed a little brisk and little talk about ways to help my anxiety

Took over 20 minutes for someone to answer the phone to schedule an appointment.

it would have been nice to have someone call me about all the test results. [...]

Dr Ji is listens and asks questions. She is very articulate and patient in explaining things. I feel that she takes a personal interest in me. I am glad I chose her to replace my prior physicial who left Providence.

Accidentally referred me to an opthamologist in the next state, instead of portland, causing me to not be treated when I went to the portland office.

She shows her mind is not with the patient. She didn't do the full women's exam like other doctors. When I asked her about something, she didn't look carefully like my previous doctors do. I'd hope to find some doctor close by, looks like the wrong decision.

This doctor seem that she was in a hurry and just being inconvenienced. When i called in for the apt. it was because i had some paint and irritatoin with some private issues. I made that clear even with speaking ot the nurse before i saw this doctor. The doctor comes in and asked me if this is a normal pap smear.. I told her no, and gave her a reaso nwhy. She act surprised and left it at that. I did not have any options to ask any question i had. She made me feel that she was in a hurry so i really didnt try to reach out ot ask those either..

She talks way to softly and is very hard to understand

Dr Ji is great. Best Dr I've ever had!!

She takes the time to explain everything clearly and show great attention to my concern.

Love Dr JI!
