Linda Hungerford, M.D., feels that active, careful listening is the key to good primary care. “Patients want to know they have been heard,” she says. “I believe a physician who knows her patients well provides the best care. Continuity is the true basis of primary care.”
Linda earned her medical degree at Oregon Health & Science University. She completed both her residency and internship at Providence Portland Medical Center. She is board certified in internal medicine.
An Oregon native, Linda speaks German and a little Nepali — the result of six months of missionary work in Nepal. She and her husband continue to support medical and mission work in developing countries. They have three children.
