About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Like all good doctors Dr. Hirsch is extremely busy and it takes about 3 months lead time just to get an appointment. I think that this is far to long. also I had to wait in his exam room over 30 minutes for him after his assistant was finished checking me in. Not good!

Everyone was very respectful and caring
Providence Health & Services Patient

Very personable, easy to talk to and seems interested in me as a person as well as a patient. The day I saw him he was way behind schedule because the previous patient had taken longer than expected. He was apolegetic and spent less time than usual with me, but still answered my questions and gave needed advice.
