About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Everything was fine except when I initially tried to schedule. the scheduler didn't listen and after my Pcp called specifically for me to see Dr Hirsch, she was quite insistent that I see a different cardiologist. she had no business trying to make me see anyone other than my doctor had referred me to. The provider is a specialist who will be doing a procedure with me tomorrow. I feel confident in his abilities and look forward to a rewarding experience. This was our initial meeting.

I am a patient of Dr. [...] so this is the first time I had seen Dr. Hirsh. I think I didn't do a good job of reporting my symptoms as I think there are several things happening and thus the diagnosis is unclear. For this reason I think Dr. Hirsh made the right decision in ordering a stress test. I have not yet heard from him but I do have a scheduled appointment for follow up.

Like all good doctors Dr. Hirsch is extremely busy and it takes about 3 months lead time just to get an appointment. I think that this is far to long. also I had to wait in his exam room over 30 minutes for him after his assistant was finished checking me in. Not good!
