In her medical practice, Kimberly Herder, M.D., stresses the importance of preventative health care to her patients by serving as an educator and advocate. “I have a strong belief in the importance of health maintenance,” she says. “I want to help patients identify potential risk factors in their lives so together we can prevent the onset of illness or disease.”
Dr. Herder, who is board certified in internal medicine, earned her medical degree from the University of Alberta School of Medicine in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her internship and residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass.
Dr. Herder was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. Away from her practice, she enjoys skiing, scuba diving, reading and traveling.
