Roger never anticipated a career in the medical field until a significant knee injury playing soccer in college put him in a sports physical therapy clinic for the better part of a year. This experience created a desire to want to help people get over their own sports injuries and changed his career path.
Since graduating from physical therapy school in 1999, Roger has worked for Providence in several clinics around the Portland area, finally settling in Camas just minutes from his home. He has been an advanced clinician at Providence for sports therapy since 2005 and created the current ACL prevention program currently in use throughout the region. He has been certified as a strength and conditioning specialist since 2009 and has been making orthotics since 2000.
Outside of work, Roger enjoys all sports but especially going to Timbers games and watching his identical twin girls play a variety of sports.
