Dr. Andrean Gurov has always loved biology. In high school, he studied human anatomy, and it was then he decided he wanted to become a physician. He enjoys primary care because of the variety of different patients her serves, along with the variety of medical problems he sees.
In his practice, Dr. Gurov emphasizes listening and strives to find the best options of treatment for his patients. “My most important role as a provider is educating patients about prevention of disease and how to live a healthy lifestyle,” he says.
Dr. Gurov received his medical degree from Medical University Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria. He continued his residency training with Medical University Sofia and then later at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York.
In his free time Dr. Gurov enjoys spending time with his family and pets. He also enjoys horseback riding and sports, when time allows.
