Biography & Education

Katrina Grant, MD, chose to be a family physician because of the opportunity to develop relationships with people of all ages, as well as with whole families.  As part of her work, she provides pregnancy care, attends births, and cares for children.

Taking an integrative approach to care, she seeks to hear each person’s story, learn about the person’s priorities and values, and work in a collaborative way toward improving health and preventing illness. “I believe that a holistic understanding of health is essential – not simply finding and controlling disease, but facilitating each person’s journey toward becoming healthier.”

Dr. Grant earned her medical degree from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. She completed her internship and residency in Family Medicine, as well as a residency in Preventive Medicine, at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. She received her Master in Public Health from Portland State University.

Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.

About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

She was very nice and a great listener and seemed to really care.

Dr Grant is very caring and she really listens to me. I am an active participant in my health care decisions.

Dr Grant went beyond what I expected in looking for lower cost options for a medicine that would benefit me and in giving me the benefit of her research a few days after the appointment. I am very impressed with her!

Dr. Grant is a great clinician - very caring and thorough. I always feel I'm in good hands.

Dr. Grant is exactly the provider I need for my personal and maternity needs. She is genuine and takes the time to answer all of our questions in a patient and kind way. She honors our choices and respects our concerns.

I can only see this provider for well visits. if I am sick I can't get in so I have to go elsewhere.

I love my provider! [...]

Dr. Grant is an amazing doctor, very trustworthy and kind and knowledgable. I feel lucky to have found her.

I never felt rushed even though there was a lot to go over. The appointment took about an hour and I knew that if I needed more time, the doctor would've stayed as long as necessary.

My dr is a great dr and i highly recommend her to others

Very knowledgeable, calm and caring professional, a true doctor, excellent communicator and physician

I was asked to fill out a questionnaire in the reception area that seemed the same as the one I did online before the visit. The PA who first saw me asked me similar questions. as I'd answered online. Don't waste my time asking me to do an online survey if it's not used.

Provider is an excellent listener and provides applicable treatment options.

I had put off making an appt to deal with an itchy rash because I felt sure it would be weeks before I got in. When I finally went on line to make the appt. I think I got in in less than a week. I was stunned.

Dr. Grant is the best- always thoughtful and patient. It never feels like she needs to be anywhere else. So happy to have har as not only my OBGYN but also my, and all my family's primary care doctor.

She takes time to listen and isn't quick to put you on meds.

we love Dr Grant, she's awesome!

I am very pleased to have Dr. Grant as my primary care and obstetrics physician. She is a great clinician, including being very kind and thorough. My pregnancy has not been super straight forward and she has done a great job guiding me through this rough period ensuring the health of both me and baby.

[...] when Dr. Grant asked me questions about my health, I ended up talking much more than I had anticipated. However, Dr. Grant made space for me to share as much as I wanted while listening attentively. I really felt like she had sincere concern for my health and genuine interest in other aspects of my life as well as who I am as a person. She was kind, gentle, and easy to talk to. I have complete confidence in Dr. Grant as my PCP and am very glad to be connected to her and PMG.

Dr. Grant is a delightful young woman who brings compassion and knowledge to each interaction. She's the best!

Dr. Grant was very supportive and helpful about a sensitive topic that I haven't had good experiences with other doctors about in the past.

Dr. Katrina has been our families PCP for over 4 years. She is amazing, kind and informative. I always recommend her [...]

Dr. Grant has such a wonderful manner, she was very open to all of my questions and I felt very comfortable discussing my medical concerns with her. One of the best experiences with a PCP I have experienced to date.

Dr Grant was extremely attentive and easy to discuss things with. I appreciated the time and thought that she took to answer all of my questions. The nurse was polite and did a fine job, but could have been a little more inviting/upbeat.

Dr Grant is wonderful. She listens, is always respectful, we work together - she doesn't just tell me what to do, she doesn't have a lot of experience with [...], but she's learning about it

KAtrina is Always Top Notch! The CNA that has been helping with my last couple of appointments can be rude & does not listen well or seem to really care.

Dr. Grant went far above and beyond what any other doctor I've ever had for me during this appointment. She listened intently at what I said, and really seems to care about my overall health and doing everything she can to make me feel better. I was very impressed.

Dr. Grant is a great doctor who works for her patients.

Dr. Grant is a wonderful Doctor. I am very fussy about these things. She is a jewel in all of the ways you want your doctor to be a jewel.

she was a great dr, spent time and listened

Dr. Grant is the pest PCP I have ever had an appointment with.

Dr. Grant and her team are very compassionate and caring and work with careful, precise actions to ensure my care.
