Biography

Katrina Grant, M.D., chose to be a family physician because of the opportunity to develop relationships with people of all ages, as well as with families.

Taking an integrative approach to care, she seeks to hear each person’s story, learn about the person’s priorities and values and work in a collaborative way toward improving health and preventing illness. “I believe that a holistic understanding of health is essential – not simply finding and controlling disease, but facilitating each person’s journey toward becoming healthier.”

Dr. Grant earned her medical degree from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. She completed her internship and residency in family medicine, as well as a residency in preventive medicine, at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Away from the office, she enjoys hiking, gardening and cooking with her husband.

About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr Grant is wonderful. She listens, is always respectful, we work together - she doesn't just tell me what to do, she doesn't have a lot of experience with [...], but she's learning about it

KAtrina is Always Top Notch! The CNA that has been helping with my last couple of appointments can be rude & does not listen well or seem to really care.

Dr. Grant went far above and beyond what any other doctor I've ever had for me during this appointment. She listened intently at what I said, and really seems to care about my overall health and doing everything she can to make me feel better. I was very impressed.

Dr. Grant is a wonderful Doctor. I am very fussy about these things. She is a jewel in all of the ways you want your doctor to be a jewel.

I love Dr Katrina Grant. She is thoughtful, thorough, and even when I can't see her the other clinicians have always been exceptional. The issue is getting in. I can NEVER get in during an acute illness. [...]

I think Dr. Grant is great. But getting an appointment ended up taking 6.5 (3 + 3.5) weeks because our first appointment was superceded by her needing to perform a delivery. That was frustrating.

I think I set myself up by providing too much information to provider. Thus, after the fact, I realize she did not do a thorough evaluation of my symptoms

The provider (doc) was great this visit. However, I've only seen her once and I've found it's rare to find a good doctor over a period of time, so I am cautious about my positive assessment.

Dr.Grant was present for the birth of my daughter, and was my ob provider through pregnancy. Her attentive care and patience through a tough natural delivery impressed me. I felt very cared for. She helped me follow my birth plan!
