Biography

Katrina Grant, M.D., chose to be a family physician because of the opportunity to develop relationships with people of all ages, as well as with families.

Taking an integrative approach to care, she seeks to hear each person’s story, learn about the person’s priorities and values and work in a collaborative way toward improving health and preventing illness. “I believe that a holistic understanding of health is essential – not simply finding and controlling disease, but facilitating each person’s journey toward becoming healthier.”

Dr. Grant earned her medical degree from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in Rochester, Minn. She completed her internship and residency in family medicine, as well as a residency in preventive medicine, at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Away from the office, she enjoys hiking, gardening and cooking with her husband.

About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I would like to receive feedback over my health questions or concerns in a much more pro-active way... For example, I have had an not easy to explain gain of weight in the past few years which I'm working to change however I do not feel my concerns are being addressed seriously... I eat very healthfully and moderately and exercise regularly and it is not normal for me to have gained more than 15 or 20 lbs... [...] I would appreciate a much more pro-active approach to address my valid concerns such as this one.

I thoroughly enjoy and am building a strong relationship with Dr. Grant. The only thing I have to say about the clinic is that last time I was in I waited for about 20 min in the waiting room before being seen. but in general my appointments are very timely and I love using MyChart to interact with my provider.

This was my first visit to see Dr. Grant. What stuck me right off the bat was that she started by saying "tell me about yourself". She took a genuine interest in me... I also liked her practical approach to wellness. The staff supporting her was also very nice.
