In addition to being a good listener, Terena D. Gimmillaro, D.O., considers a physician's most important role is that of a compassionate and caring healer.
Trained in osteopathic manipulation treatment, she believes that, "When used in the appropriate setting, OMT may help relieve musculoskeletal pain, restore range of motion and enhance the body's natural ability to heal itself."
Dr. Gimmillaro received her degree in osteopathic medicine from Western University of Health Science in Pomona, Calif. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians; the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians; and the Osteopathic Physicians of Oregon.
She enjoys hiking with her dog and trying all the wonderful restaurants and food carts that Portland has to offer.
