About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

It was nice to be able to get in to see MD within two days of calling for an appointment since it was for a potential medical issue and not just a regular exam. Felt the appointment was rushed; not time for me to make sure all of my questions were answered. MD didn't ask if I had any other questions; just told me what she tests she was ordering and left the room.

Takes care to prescribe medications carefully due to my sensitivity to most. Remembers past conversations and asks how things are going. Very sensitive to my needs and is a very good listener.

I realize that this is only a perception, and therefore my filter, but I felt like just another face for the doctor to see on the date of my appointment. I was a new patient for her, having recently moved to the area, so I realize that I was unfamiliar, but it showed, and there wasn't much interest shown in getting to know me any better as a person, much less a patient. Again, I apologize as I don't want to sound a defeatist, and I'm certain that with time we'll get to know each other better.

I feel like Dr Gerhard & team listen to my needs. I received quick referrals when I tore my ACL and she recommended a great surgeon. I also like the ease of communicating online and preordering blood work so the results are ready for my appt.

she did not remind me to get my mammogram which I skipped last year also she gave ma a prescription I would have to pay over 200 dollars for so I could not get the prescription and she had no alternative prescription for me to try so my concerns were not treated. it seems like she does not know me because she did not notice I lost 25 pounds since I saw her last.on a good note she gave me the name of a specialist for another issue I had.

My last visit with Dr. Gerhard was one week following heart surgery. For me it was an emotional period. Dr. Gerhard was very patient and understanding. Her explanations of cut through the medical jargon while being empathetic to the way I was feeling. I left her office with a better understanding of what happened and a vastly improved attitude for my future days.

My previous doctor had been my physician since 1977 and moving to Sherwood meant many changes to my medical care and all health care entities. However I have to say I was very impressed with Doctor Gerhard and as young as she is how much ease and knowledge she had to offer. I liked and appreciated her professionalism and her sense of humor. I believe I made a excellent decision in choosing Doctor Gerhard as my new PCP

I felt like this provider asked inappropriate questions regarding if I am receiving mental health treatment. I did not feel very understood or heard and my concerns seemed invalidated. I came in wanting to better understand my symptom presentation but felt like my symptoms were only reduced to symptoms of somatization. Medication side effects were not addressed and I am now realizing that what might have looked like IBS then was more of a med side effect. I did not allude to having significant stress in my life but provider assumed I had and encouraged me to engage in stress reduction management. It was also assumed I was looking to have procedures done when I was not. This was very invalidating and frustrating. I will not be returning to this provider.

I changed providers at my last visit to Dr. Gearhardt. I had met her on a pervious visit and felt a great connection to her. She was able to make me feel comfortable and very easy to talk to at both of my visits with her. I am looking forward to staying with her for a long time.
