Fisher is devoted to providing the best stroke care for all patients, wherever they live, and to reducing the suffering and mortality caused by stroke. She focuses on educating as many people as possible on preventing and recognizing stroke.
Her involvement in the Northwest Regional Stroke Network and the steering committee for the Oregon Stroke Network and her program leadership of Providence Stroke Center is helping to strengthen and improve stroke care throughout the state.
Fisher has been a nurse for 24 years. Her original passion for helping the vulnerable led her to work in critical care. She became a stroke research nurse and acute stroke team member before assuming the role of regional program manager for Providence Stroke Center in Portland.
Stroke nurse manager
