Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

Dr. Fischer is a surgeon who took out my gall bladder a decade or so ago. I saw him about double hernia which was repaired [...] (60 yrs ago). My ONLY concern is he is unwilling to repair both hernias on same day; this will double my out-of-pocket costs [...]

I felt very comfortable and not as worried after talking to the doctor. He was very calming and explained everything in a way that I could understand. I trust his skills very much after talking with him. Really grateful to have found a doctor who listens to me and is helping.

Dr. Fisher is a real person. He is not arrogant like some doctors become in their practice. He is patient & kind, extremely helpful, and has an "amazing bed-side manner".

Dr Fisher is great. He reviewed my case with me in detail. Listened to me attentively. Addressed any concerns and answered all questions. Performed a thorough exam. Then clearly communicated his recommendations and the reasons for his recommended treatment moving forward.
