Brenda Fisher manages lung, head and neck cancer clinical trials for Providence Cancer Center throughout the Portland metro area.
At Providence Cancer Center, I have work closely with all members of the cancer team to provide a specialist nursing service for patients with lung cancer, renal cancer, and head and neck cancers. My longevity in oncology has provided the opportunity to work with a variety of patients in many stages of treatment.
I am the first point of contact for patients who come to the Lung Cancer Clinic.
I provide psychological support, expert advice, nursing knowledge and skills to patients and their families. I act as a resource to advise, educate and support those involved in the care of patients. This includes doctors, nurses and all healthcare professionals as well as patients and their families.
