Ruth Fischer-Wright, M.D., follows a philosophy founded on giving her patients an active role in their health care. “I view the patient-provider relationship as a team,” she says. “I believe that each encounter with a patient is an opportunity to empower and assist them as they make decisions about their care.”
Board-certified in family practice, Dr. Fischer-Wright completed her medical degree at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency at Providence Hospital (now Swedish Medical Center) in Seattle.
A native of the Northwest, Dr. Fischer-Wright was born and raised in Washington’s Yakima Valley. Along with her husband and three children, she enjoys watching and participating in sports and being active in their church.
