About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr.Finch has been nothing but helpful and patient with my mother and me. She's had 3 strokes and her speech has been impaired and she suffer seizures. He always listens to us and doesn't try to over medicate her. We really think he's great. He's the only neurologist to really get a handle on my Mothers condition and make her comfortable.

Wish he were my primary. He makes you feel at ease and that there is only you that takes his time.

Office staff were rather abrupt and didn't explain that I couldn't make an apt until after all Med Rec's had been received from previous caregivers.

Sometimes I have to call the doctor's office to remind them to fill a prescription, and prescriptions are not always filled timely. Overall though, I am able to talk with someone in the office who can help me.

Do not like having a person taking notes while talking with DR or even being present during an exam.

I believe he did not listen to my complaints which I consider extremely important as these issues are affecting my daily life. He spent a VERY short time (well under my 15 min time slot) and mostly passed me off without seeming concerned about my well being.

He asked a lot of questions, repeated my answers so as to be sure he understood - 1st time visit, so it was very important.

Dr. Finch is always timely and friendly but a lot of the time I feel rushed, especially with my memory and forgetfulness like it is when I feel rushed I have a hard time remembering things I want to cover.

The receptionists did not greet me when I arrived. It took several minutes before they acknowledged my presence and several more minutes to find out who I was and why I was there. This did not make a very good first impression.
