Samuel Fellin, D.O., emphasizes prevention in his practice and encourages patients to participate in their own care and health. “I feel my main role is as an educator, to teach patients about preventive measures and, when they’re sick, to educate them about the importance of taking medications as prescribed and other ways they can contribute to the healing process,” he says. “I enjoy being able to serve as a positive force in people’s lives.”
Dr. Fellin is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Wash. He earned his D.O. at the College of Osteopathic Medicine of Pacific in Pomona, Calif., and completed his internal medicine residency at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
In his free time, Dr. Fellin enjoys outdoor activities, including running, hiking, camping and gardening.
