About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I always ask her to talk to me as a person not a doctor so I might understand

I really like Dr. Ensminger, and I particularly appreciate the ability to communicate with her via My Chart. I had major surgery this summer, and it was very helpful to be able to communicate with her regarding the surgery and my recovery via email. She is always very responsive, and it is a great communications tool for physicians and patients.

The staff was great, the doctor I will not go back to. Seemed to have no interest in taking care of why I was actually there, just wanted to send me out on referrals for other minor things that I didn't even ask for.

She was a bit short with me and didn't spend enough time with me as a new patient.

I hate the notion that I went to the Doctor to only be referred to a non-doctor. I pay $20 co-pay to be told that I cannot help you, you must go to a physical therapist, which costs you way more than a $20 co-pay. Didn't really even try to diagnose the problem with my knee, just said "physical therapy" as quickly as possible so as to get onto the next patient. Not even the little print out with helpful suggestions on things I could do myself, rather than paying out of pocket and taking up time I don't have. And people wonder why we stop going to the doctor.

Initial appt with the DR was not good [...] I've had 1 back surgery and need another, her first question was what pain pills I was on and wanted to start winging me off. This was without asking me about my pain, problems, or surgeries. I wasn't there to ask her for pain pills. I won't be seeing her a second time.

I don't really like Shauna, she seems sort of aloof and a bit sarcastic. I have seen her before and needed to get in and she was the only one available on short notice. About 20 minutes late, didn't give me a difinative answer to my skin condition [...] I received no follow up email to things we talked about.

She didn't seem to really listen to my problems, and prescribed medication that I told her in the past had caused problems.

I have always had to wait at least 40 minutes after my appointment time to be seen. She is worth waiting for, but I do also have a busy schedule. I would recommend alloting at least 45 minute slots for appointments and hiring more doctors so that everyone can enjoy great care in a timely manner and so your doctors can not be so overloaded!

I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Ensminger as my primary care provider. She is very pleasant, knowledgeable, respectful, listens well, and offers suggestions & information clearly & in an easily understandable way. I am especially pleased with how quickly she responds to my email questions & requests for prescription refills. Her encouragement in dealing with my personal health issues is wonderful, and her non-judgmental manner contributes to an honest & open relationship.

I feel heard and I consider my provider to be a person who cares about me as a patient. She always listens to my concerns and is very professional. I feel confident having her as a provider. I did refer her to a friend but she wasn't taking new patients. I normally hate going to the doctors but my provider make me feel at ease.
