Dominique was born and raised in Los Angeles, Calif., surrounded by a large family from both the United States and Colombia. As a young girl, she was drawn to become a midwife after witnessing the birth of her nephew. She feels genuinely honored to care for pregnant women and to share in such an important and transformative time in a woman's life.
Dominique is particularly passionate about working with the underserved, and spent the past nine years providing midwifery care to uninsured women. She loves the diversity of the pregnant women and families at Providence Maternal Care Clinic and feels excited to be a part of this team.
When not at work, Dominique's favorite times are movie nights with her four kids and husband, thrift store treasure hunting with her mom, and remodeling/restoring her 1920's house.
