Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments. These comments are the views and opinions of patients and are not endorsed by or necessarily reflect the views of Providence.

I have no complaint about this Provider of mine.

One mix-up: Staff forgot to do the blood draw for my pre-surgery checkup and I had to return during rush-hour traffic to have the blood drawn. Apology accepted, but it made for a tedious, long day.

The level of respect and lack of judgment from the provider and his nursing assistant was very appreciated.

Dr. Diaz is the best doctor I have ever had, including primary care and specialists. He is really well-informed and astute, understands how symptoms and different heath issues can be interconnected, very easy to talk to, and very considerate.

Dr. Diaz is always professional, kind and courteous. Like every other 21st century physician, he is constrained by the required technical input of information to a computer. It is why my nephrologist brother retired early. Sad state of affairs in the profession as a whole.

Not this appointment but at previous appointments, support staff treated me "per the book" not the person. When I say I am losing my hearing, it is not helpful for them to speak in a soft voice to see if I can hear. I have had inner ear bones broken and surgery to repair them in my right ear when I was with [...], and I do know when my ear is losing hearing. When staff treat only by the book and are not open to what the patient tells them, they fail do do a health service...in my opinion. Dr. Diaz is thorough. It was other staff who were too simplistic and assuming about my hearing.

Dr. Diaz was great. The nursing staff was also very attentive and interactive. Notably, when my veins were not "cooperating" for the blood draw, one nurse deferred to another who specialized in doing blood draws.

The check-in process at this office is always challenging. This is the second time I've arrived to have to wait a long time because of "computer problems". This week I went to a Providence specialists, Dr. [...] and again his office had "computer problems" that delayed my checking in. Obviously something is wrong.

My visit was an introductory one to establish myself with a primary care doctor. I felt comfortable with Dr. Diaz even though it was evident that he has too much to do. But that's an issue with how we as a people have designed our healthcare systems. Dr. Diaz took his time with me, was patient, and listened well. I like him. Thank you!

Can't get an appointment in any reasonable period of time, any appointment which isn't the first appointment of the day WILL BE LATE. I give the clinic the courtesy of showing up on time or early but they've never shown me the same courtesy in return.
