Bill Davies, M.D., enjoys using science to solve problems and help improve the lives of his patients. "I find the workings of the heart fascinating and medical research has provided tools that when properly applied can save lives," he said.
In his practice, he understands each person is unique. "I think it is very important to take time with patients to understand their perspective, and provide education in terms that make sense to them," said Davies. "In the long run, it is most important to develop a partnership with patients to establish a treatment plan that will improve their health."
Dr. Davies received his medical degree from Dartmouth in Hanover, NH. He completed his internship and residency at Sinai-Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wis., and fellowship at University of Vermont. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology.
As a cardiologist, Dr. Davies understands the value of an active lifestyle. He enjoys exercise and the outdoors. In college he was a competitive Nordic ski racer and later developed a passion for backcountry Telemark skiing in northern New Mexico. Now he enjoys running, hiking, and skiing with his family. He even has an organic garden and grows his own greens and vegetables.
