Dr. Cara Davidson chose a career in medicine after volunteering with a family practitioner during college. “I fell in love with the idea of solving problems, helping people, and getting to know patients over time,” she says.
In her practice, she emphasizes preventive and holistic care for all of her patients. As a primary care doctor, she believes that the most important things she can do are to “listen to my patients, guide them through illness and health, and always act as their advocate.”
Dr. Davidson earned her medical degree at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, and then completed her internship and residency at Oregon Health & Science University. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Davidson was born in Glasgow, Scotland, but spent most of her childhood in North Carolina. Away from the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the movies, cooking and knitting.
