About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

This biggest issue I have is wait time to see the provider. I first had to wait 4 weeks to see the Dr. and after consultation the doctor ordered blood tests and rescheduled a follow up for 3 weeks. I think 7 weeks is a very long time to wait to even bring to see what is wrong with me, or possible treatment while I have a difficult time functioning every day.

Dr,Chiou has seen me many times, and I did all he recommended and he still said my problem was mental, when in fact it is looking like [...] which I asked him about but he would not entertain. But in all fairness, he's not the only GP I have seen for condition over the 2yrs,

The provider is nice enough but there seems to be a fair amount lost in translation. He has a strong accent and I occasionally get the feeling that we are not talking about the same thing. I sometimes leave wondering if he understood my problem.

Dr. Chiou lkstens and his advice is direct and clear. During my last visit, I complained about serious pain in my left shoulder [...]. He suggested that I try [...] to see if there was improvement. I have done that since my last visit, [...], and the pain has gone away. I seriously believed I had some nerve damage, but he understood what had to be done, and I appreciate his advice.
