Dr. Ingrid Cherrytree chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology because she enjoys taking care of women and their health. "What I enjoy most about medicine are the patients," she says. "I like to treat each patient as individuals, because they all have unique health needs."
In her practice, Dr. Cherrytree emphasizes patient education and a greater understanding of health conditions. "I believe my most important role is providing guidance to my patients when they're making health care decisions," said Dr. Cherrytree.
After earning her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, she completed her residency in OB/GYN at the University of California Davis Medical Center. She then completed a fellowship focused on minimally-invasive techniques for gynecologic surgery at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle.
In her free time, Dr. Cherrytree enjoys snowboarding, backpacking and gardening.
