Jessica Burness, M.D., decided to become a family medicine physician in order to form meaningful personal relationships with her patients. "I enjoy the broad, holistic approach of family medicine, which provides the opportunity to work with patients in the context of their lives, their families and their communities," she says.
Dr. Burness received her medical degree from Brown University, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in biology. She completed her residency at Oregon Health & Science University.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Burness enjoys reading, writing, bicycling, hiking and cooking.
