After working in a private maternity practice in Oregon City, Becky Bruns was looking for a practice run by midwives that cared for a diverse patient population, including the underserved. She soon found her niche at Providence Maternal Care Clinic.
Becky enjoys working with student midwives and coordinating the clinic’s patient education.
Born in Taiwan, Becky moved to New York City as a child. She received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Earlham College in Richmond, Ind., and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She earned a master’s degree in nursing/midwifery at Oregon Health & Science University.
In her spare time, Becky enjoys gardening, yoga, and hiking and skiing with her family.
