Biography
"For nearly 20 years in an academic setting, I enjoyed teaching and doing clinical research on the diagnosis and treatment of viral hepatitis and advanced liver disease that has fostered advancements in patient care," says Dr. Benner. "Now, with my colleagues at The Oregon Clinic, I am dedicated to providing easy access for our community to cutting-edge consultative care that includes the best available evaluation and treatment of liver and GI problems. We believe in providing personal, compassionate and efficient care through a team approach that includes the best trained physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses and ancillary staff." 
 
Dr. Benner's focus is in hepatology (liver disease).

Dr. Benner is associated with Providence Cancer Center.
