About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

She's okay, but I'm not confident in her abilities at this point.

Saw her recently for ongoing pain, different than what I've had before. she took the time to listen and ordered a bunch of blood work and didn't just add another pill. I will have a FU appt. and hope I will find out what's going on. very caring and compassionate care.

This was the first time I visited Dr. Bautista. My previous Dr. retired so I needed a new primary physician. I had an overall good experience, but I need more time to make a good observation.

I feel Dr. Bautista is overloaded with patients and she does her best to address critical issues. I understand that she has to prioritize. My non-urgent questions were referred to a specialist so I think I will go directly to the specialist next time as my insurance allows this

Everything was good except she spoke quickly and I didn't fully understand what she was explaining. I felt like she cared about me and was trying to explain, I was just still a little confused when she left.

I did not feel that my concerns and pains were being properly addressed. I have has this problem before and am very shy so I brought my mother with me and she helped me to speak up and I still felt railroaded and thrown out the door.

Dr. Bautista was nice, but I didn't receive a "first time patient" exam as I imagined it would be. Since this was my first time seeing her - I thought the physical exam would be more thorough.

3 Issues in last 6 months: [...] She seems like she cares, looking things up on computer, etc.. but lacks a clear delivery. Her communication style is not direct, therefore, I've lost confidence in trusting that she knows what she's doing OR what she's communicated that she said she was going to do. Not an ideal provider/patient scenario.

after having a horrible experience with my last Dr, I had to find a new Dr. I was having some very big health concerns and my last Dr would not listen. I'm very thankful I found Dr Batista. I now have the answers to those concerns, I'm also on medication that has helped.

I do have one complaint. Often when my pharmacy calls for permission to refill a prescription it is 3-5 days after the call before the return permission is given. This is often after the pharmacist has made a second call.

The medical assistant who took my weight, height, and blood pressure was very helpful and respectful. My primary care provider, however, did not spend enough time with me and was a terrible listener. When I explained my health concerns, she stared at me, but seemed to be thinking of something else. When I finished my explanations, she didn't seem to have understood me at all. This was my very first visit with Providence, and I had to ask what the visit entailed without her explaining anything to me. When she finished with the exam, she sent in another doctor without any explanation and I had to ask them who they were and what they did. I had asked for a blood test and assumed that this new doctor was there to take my blood. So it fell on this new doctor to explain where I needed to go for my blood test, since my primary care physician didn't explain anything. This visit was a terrible first impression, and when I go back for my annual next year, I will be trying a new primary care physician.
