Monica Bastian PT, DPT, Cert. MDT, focuses on the spine (cervical, thoracic and lumbar), and extremities (knees, shoulders, elbows, hips and more) by specializing in a treatment methodology called mechanical diagnosis (MDT) - also known as the McKenzie Method, for which she is a certified practitioner.
Monica focuses on getting patients back to health is as few visits as possible, working to rapidly reduce symptoms, offering simple and accessible exercises to do at home, and referring patients on as necessary to ensure they are getting the right type of treatment.
Monica has been working in outpatient rehabilitation for Providence Health and Services since graduating from Pacific University in 2010 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT). She is also a longstanding member of her professional organization, APTA, and believes in the benefits of physical therapy she has seen so many of her patients realize.
In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest and spending time with her husband and two kids.
