About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Dr. Barich is by far the best provider I have ever seen. After being with the same Dr for over 10 years in Medford, I was a little nervous about establishing with a new provider in the area. Dr. Barich made me feel very comfortable, does not rush through his appointments, and truly cares about his patients.

Dr. Barich only missed one health problem, which resulted in my seeking help on my own [...] In every other way, he's clearly a brilliant doctor.

This was my first visit to Dr Barich. My previous doctor retired. While I had filled out necessary forms to transfer medical records, I am not sure this office received all of the info. For instance, he asked about family history of disease, which I am sure is listed in my records. Also, when I looked online at my new Providence records, there was nothing listed in the immunizations record. [...] I was happy about Dr. Barich's take on how to approach managing my high blood sugar, and his advice on what tests to order as part of a "check up".

This was a first visit with Dr. Barich to get established as my new PCP. I found him very easy to talk to and he took a lot of time with me and he listened.

Dr. Barich comes off as rather arrogant at times. Also he had me try 4 different anti depressants in a rather short time frame and I think that has caused some issues with the way I feel physically.

This provider had been my PCP and I feel since my first visit last year, he's never listened to me re: my mental health, I came to him with a terrible anxiety/depression/bi-polar episode on this visit, he recommended me talk with the clinical psychologist at this location [...]

The clinic is great. Dr. Barich's bedside manner is not exactly my style. I would expect him to be a bit more sensitive to women's health issues.

When I was worried about my son [...] Dr. Barich listened - was compassionate and encouraged me to talk to my priest & a counselor.

I really like Dr. Barich, I have anxiety with my visits which elevates my blood pressure. He is mindful of this but does not spend a great deal of time or seem overly concerned with it which helps me to relax and feel better.

The doctor did not listen to my very simple needs. I had to come back to the clinic 3-4 times due to his errors. I had my blood taken twice when it needed to be once. He had no idea about the condition I told him I had about my blood. Very disappointing experience and I will be switching my primary care doctor as well as medical home clinic.

I was greatly relieved to find a care provider in Dr. Barrich that would listen and believe me. He was very straightforward with his information and very clear. He does not overreact to issues, but shows good common sense. I feel confident that I will be well taken care of and will be able to make good medical decisions based on his care.
