Karen is a native of Montana. She loves spending time with her husband and daughter in the outdoors, fishing, camping and hiking. She loves all sports–especially track and field–in which she volunteers at several events including the USA Track and Field Championships and Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore. She was the Medical Team Lead for the 2016 USA and World Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Karen has a passion for running. She began as a sprinter/heptathlete and cross country athlete at George Fox University and has run several races, from 5k to marathons.
