Biography
Karen enjoys working with all patients and seeks to know each patient as an individual.  Her educational background, experience, and commitment to the promotion of healthy lifestyles make her an enthusiastic resource to work with.
Karen is a native of Montana and she loves the outdoors, fishing, camping and hiking.  She loves all sports especially Track and Field in which she volunteers at several events including USA Track and Field Championships and Olympic Trials in Eugene.  Karen has a passion for running.  She began as a sprinter/heptathlete and cross country athlete at George Fox University and has run several 5K-15K races and 3 marathons.  Karen especially enjoys spending time with her husband and active toddler.

Education

Karen graduated with a degree in Health and Human Performance/Athletic Training from George Fox University.  She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 13 years specializing in Swedish and Sports Massage.  She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist; she has been a Personal Trainer since 2000.  She earned a Doctoral degree from Pacific University in 2004.
