Patient Ratings and Comments
About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

Karen is very caring and attentive there is nothing I feel uneasy about descussing with her, she is very up-front and honest, I almost feel like I am her only patient.
Providence Health & Services Patient

I had to wait in waiting room forever and ended up being there for 2 hours.

I am always impressed how easily/quickly it is to get an appointment. Ms. Ballard always listens to my questions and concerns and follows up as required.

I feel as though Karen has always treated myself and my girls with comfort and care. She is knowledgeable about my daughter's asthma and very informative on the exact steps I need to take when my daughter falls ill (like this last time we saw her)... I feel at ease knowing my daughters are well cared for, we love our "Dr. Karen"... as my 6 & 7 year old say. She is great!
Providence Health & Services Patient

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Karen. She never checked the medicines side effect before prescribing and it really created a lot of problems and so many side effects that i was on for 3 days.I am never going to see this doctor [...]

Providence Health & Services Patient

I spent quite a bit of time trying to find a mail provider for my 15 year old son. When we showed up for the appointment, they let us know that this provider would be in shortly. We said we had come for the male doctor and they asked us if we wanted to wait because he was running very late. We said no but we're quite disappointed. We did not like the way this was handled and will definitely do things differently next time.

Karen takes the time to discuss, debate and come to a mutual agreement of the details of my care. I like that.
