In his role as a medical provider, Robert Azar, M.D., believes he should always advocate for the highest quality surgical care for his patients. "I treat every patient as my only patient and don't compromise on care," he says. "The satisfaction I receive from using my mind and hands to contribute to the health and well-being of my patients is what I enjoy most."
Dr. Azar earned his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University and also completed his internship and residency there as well. He then completed a fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. He is board certified in non-cardiac thoracic surgery.
