Providence Specialty Pediatric Dental Clinic provides comprehensive dental services for children with special health care needs. We define special needs to be children with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and medical needs, such as anxiety, sensory issues, autism spectrum disorders, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and developmental and speech/language delays. We welcome medically complex children – our clinic is located in the Child Center, home to the Center for Medically Fragile Children.
Oral health is important to a child’s overall health. By providing a positive dental experience, we can encourage children to develop good dental care habits. Our dentists are experienced in working with special needs children and have a great way of gaining kids’ trust.
