Biography

"I have a passion for children and love to see families eat healthy."

Connie enjoys providing feeding, growth and nutrition information in a family-centered atmosphere, and has experience working with special-needs children. She works closely with families enrolled in the Providence Healthy 'n Fit program.

Connie has been married for 28 years. She and her husband have two adult children and a teenage daughter, whom they fostered and adopted. In her spare time, Connie likes to sew, read, teach Sunday school and spend time with her family.

Education

Connie received her bachelor's degree in food science and nutrition from Central Washington University in Ellensburg. She went on to get her master's degree in nutritional science from the University of Washington in Seattle, where she was awarded a fellowship scholarship to study and participate in a multidisciplinary approach to children with special health care needs.
