What does it take to be a Providence Hospice volunteer? No experience is necessary, just a loving and compassionate heart and a willingness to offer four hours a week to help families and patients who are struggling with a life-limiting or terminal illness.
Providence Hospice will hold a two-day summer hospice/Connections' volunteer training from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. on July 18 and 19 at 2033 Commerce Drive in Medford. There is no charge for this training, but advance registration is required.
Providence Hospice is also actively recruiting registered Pet Partner Therapy dog owners who might be interested in becoming hospice volunteers.
