Gift of cash
This is the simplest way to contribute. Most gifts are made by check or credit card. Gifts can be given in thanks for care or in honor of a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary. Those in memory of a loved one are a special tribute as well. Gifts are tax-deductible as provided by law.
Providence accepts the donation of appreciated securities which may offer the donor tax advantages. Contact the foundation office of your choice for more information.
Many companies match, or even double match, their employees' gifts. Check with your employer, your spouse's employer or even the company from which you retired.
Planned gifts, including gifts through your estate, charitable trust, real property or life insurance are welcome. For information on making a planned gift, please contact Providence Office of Gift Planning, 503-216-6639 or toll-free 877-228-2574.
