PORTLAND, Ore. — Krista Farnham has joined Providence Portland Medical Center as chief operating officer. She most recently served as the chief executive of Providence North Coast Service Area and led Providence Seaside Hospital.
In her new role at Providence Portland, Farnham will manage the daily operation of the medical center. “I am excited to join the wonderful team of people who care for our community,” said Farnham. “It is an honor to be a part of an organization known for excellence in patient care and research.”
Farnham joined Providence 10 years ago, and has served in various leadership positions, taking on a number of significant projects including the hospitalist program, physician recruitment and improved workflow efforts. She earned a master’s in health care administration from the University of Washington, and a bachelor’s in health care administration and speech communication from the University of South Dakota.
