Angela Wynia became a physician assistant because she believes everyone should have access to health care. "Physician assistants are uniquely trained to extend care to those who are underserved," she said.
Angela believes in empowering her patients to practice prevention and to reconnect with their knowledge of what they can do to be happy and healthy. She enjoys getting to know her patients and finding out what's most important to them as they receive medical care.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Oregon, she completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the University of Idaho. Angela is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Angela was born in San Francisco but has spent most of her life in Oregon. In her spare time, she enjoys yoga and spending time with her husband and two children.
