24/7 STEMI Facility

Providence Medford Medical Center provides rapid and safe heart attack care with a median time of opening up a blocked artery within 48.5 minutes for STEMI (heart attack) patients. We are ready to meet the emergency needs of heart and vascular patients in southern Oregon. For most patients, we can do these emergency procedures through the wrist, instead of the groin, to access the blocked cardiac artery. This is a safer procedure, with less complications and less discomfort, and allows for earlier mobilization. If you or a loved one experiences heart attack symptoms, ask EMS personnel to head to the nearest STEMI-capable hospital.
