Pulmonary therapy and rehabilitation
Pulmonary disorders can impair your ability to breathe, and let’s face it, when you can’t breathe, you can’t do much of anything else. Providence Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Therapy programs are designed for people with COPD and other chronic pulmonary disorders – including pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema – who are motivated to improve their activity tolerance and quality of life.
Included in this six-week program is education from respiratory, occupational and physical therapists, as well as exercise sessions in either group or individual settings, tailored to fit your needs. This multidisciplinary program empowers each participant with the knowledge, coping skills, confidence and physical strength to manage this chronic disease process.
Enrollment in Providence Pulmonary Rehabilitation and Therapy programs requires a physician referral and is currently offered at our Gateway location at 1111 NE 99th Ave., Portland, Oregon 97220. Contact us at 503-216-5410 or talk with your physician for more information.
