It’s an honor to serve as Chair of the 2016 Providence Seaside Hospital Foundation Board, whose purpose is to support the Providence Mission by raising and distributing funds for much needed equipment, hospital programs, medical technology, and charitable care in our community.
With generous support from donors, Providence Seaside Hospital can provide the latest innovations in patient care. Last year, our Providence Seaside Festival of Trees raised nearly $120,000 to help provide new laparoscopic equipment for our surgical suites.
Tele-medicine is now available at Providence Seaside’s North Coast Clinic. With this innovative technology, specialists from a wide range of Providence clinical programs can see patients virtually, often avoiding the need for travel to Portland.
Our new ElderPlace program is now up and running, serving dozens of patients, providing comprehensive health care services to our 55 and over population. Additionally, more than 200 North Coast patients a year receive free dental care from the Providence Dental Van.
Technology and programs like these allow us to “ease the way” of our patients, an important tenet of the Providence Mission to provide connected care for those we serve.
Your contributions really can and do make a positive difference in our community’s health care. When you donate to Providence Seaside Hospital Foundation, you’re supporting a not-for-profit hospital recognized for providing excellent, compassionate care to our entire community.
I hope you share in this pride and will help support our important efforts. Please take a moment today to make a gift to Providence Seaside Hospital Foundation or to speak with one of our estate planning specialists. Any amount you give is deeply appreciated and will help us continue to provide our community with the highest level of health care.
