Overview

Providence Hospice Community Care is a series of educational workshops that provide practical skills in how to support a friend or loved one facing serious illness or loss. When a crisis happens to someone we care about, it's natural to want to reach out. But sometimes we hesitate to do so because we're afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing. That's where Providence Hospice Community Care can help.

Providence Hospice Community Care seminars are offered at no charge to faith communities, outreach ministries, senior centers, civic organizations and community groups. They are held at a time and place that's convenient for the organization. Facilitated by trained hospice staff who have experience dealing with seriously ill and grieving individuals, the workshops offer simple and effective tools to help people turn their compassion into action.
