The Joint Commission certifies Providence programs

Following a visit this month, the Joint Commission granted disease-specific certification for total hip replacement and total knee replacement surgeries at both Providence Portland Medical Center and Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. The Ventricular Assist Device Program, or VAD, at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center has also been recertified after a separate visit by The Joint Commission.
