Cardiac Rehabilitation Center

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center offers a supervised program of exercise and education to help patients improve their health and well-being following treatment for heart disease. Patients undergoing treatment for heart attack, coronary bypass surgery, angioplasty, valve surgery, stable angina, heart transplant or heart-lung transplant are eligible. A referral from the patient's physician is required to participate. For more information, call 503-216-1250.

Vascular Disease Screenings

It is estimated that 20 million to 30 million Americans are at risk for vascular diseases. That is why we offer outpatient vascular screenings to provide early detection of the three most life-threatening forms of vascular disease: abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), carotid artery disease, peripheral arterial disease and deep venous thrombosis.

Screenings are held throughout the year at our Portland-area hospitals. Fees apply. If you or loved ones have any of the primary risk factors – smoking, age (60 or older), diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or pulmonary disease – call us at 503-216-2088 to inquire about dates, locations and pricing or to make an appointment.

Healthy Heart and Vascular Lectures

Our free lectures explore a range of topics that will help you learn the facts in preventing, detecting and effectively treating many cardiac and vascular diseases.  The presentations are led by our Providence Heart & Vascular Institute physician experts. These community forums are held conveniently within several Providence medical centers and hospitals.
