Foundation executive director continues community workStory
On May 20, 2013 a long-time community member joined Providence Willamette Falls Medical Foundation as executive director. Tiffany Gillespie was born at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center, raised in Clackamas County, and moved back to Oregon City after graduating from University of Oregon. She and her husband Craig, an operating room nurse at Providence Milwaukie Hospital, bought their first house together just blocks from Providence Willamette Falls.
These experiences have given Tiffany great understanding of the culture of our rural communities. Since she's has worked with Providence Foundations since 2005, Tiffany is equally comfortable in an urban setting. "Providence Willamette Falls is the fourth largest foundation in the state by assets," Tiffany says. "This foundation is a gem in the middle of rural and urban populations."
"I look forward to working closely with board who are wonderful advocate for the needs of the community," Tiffany says. The foundation continues to raise funds for healthy lifestyle and prevention measures including the mammography clinics for uninsured and underinsured women, easing the pressure on our Emergency Department through dental van visits, and supporting the Dougy Center in Canby which provides grief serves for children.
