Providence Child Center Radiothon
Support communication therapy for medically fragile children at Providence Child Center. Donations from caring people like you can make a big difference for medically fragile kids. Our goal is to raise $100,000 or more to provide the tools and therapy sessions needed to help all these precious children communicate with caregivers, family members and friends.
Tune in to 106.7 fm on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 16 and 17, as the Oldies radio crew helps raise money to give kids a voice. Or, stop by the Oldies live broadcast booth in the Hawthorne Fred Meyer, 3805 SE Hawthorne Blvd., to see Scott Tom, Rick “Bubba” Taylor and the rest of the crew and to meet some amazing children. The Radiothon is Friday, Nov. 16, until 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 17, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Here’s how your dollars can help a child communicate:
*A $25 donation helps pay for picture books and illustrations.
*A $100 donation helps pay for switches and switch-activated toys.
*A $250 donation helps pay for communication therapy sessions.
*A $500 donation helps pay for advanced technological devices and equipment.
