Noel Lesley Infusion Room
Providing infusion, transfusion and hydration services in a patient-centered, calming environment. Funds to build the Noel Lesley Infusion Room at Providence Cancer Center have graciously been donated by the family of Noel Lesley and supplemented by patrons at the 2010 Providence Festival of Trees. By adding the new infusion room to the Providence Cancer Center, Providence is able to provide this important service in a nurturing outpatient setting, supported by staff trained in caring for cancer patients through every stage of their treatment and survivorship. The new infusion room is designed to provide a tranquil setting that will further enhance the patient experience when receiving treatments from chemo to hydration.

Breast health and diagnostic services
The Leila J. Eisenstein Breast Center is the region’s only Breast Center of Excellence as designated by the American College of Radiology.
Comprehensive care begins with digital screening mammograms using advanced technology and computer-assisted detection to help early detection of breast cancer. Based on the patient’s needs, follow-up studies may include the following, and can be done in our breast center:
• Breast ultrasound
• Diagnostic mammogram
• Stereotactic guided biopsy
• Ultrasound guided biopsy
Breast-Specific Gamma Imaging
This breast imaging procedure is used as a next-step to help detect breast cancer when more information is needed after a mammogram. BSGI can detect early stage cancers, identify suspicious breast abnormalities, and help doctors distinguish benign from malignant tumors. BSGI is especially useful for women with dense breast tissue, breast implants or scarring from breast cancer surgery.
Providence offers the most advanced CT, MRI and PET/CT technology for use in the detection, staging and treatment planning for all forms of cancers. Our imaging centers include Oregon Advanced Imaging at two locations, Southern Oregon Open MRI and Providence Diagnotic Imaging.
