At Providence Cancer Center, the communities we serve benefit from comprehensive cancer services that focus on: the latest in diagnostic imaging, state-of-the-art clinical treatments, nationally renowned research with a strong emphasis on immunotherapy, proactive community education and prevention, and compassionate counseling and support.
In 2012, Providence Cancer Center provided more than 50,000 patient visits from across Oregon and southwest Washington.
Our physicians, nurses, researchers, patient advocates and other caregivers work together to:
- Treat cancer aggressively
- Conduct community outreach, education and screening programs
- Support cancer patients and their families
- Develop new treatment and prevention strategies through the Robert W. Franz Cancer Research Center, in the Earle A. Chiles Research Institute at Providence Cancer Center
Providence Thoracic Oncology Program serves patients with cancers of the chest, including lung cancer.
